## **YuE Model License Agreement & Disclaimer**  

### **1. License & Usage**  
- The **YuE model**, including its weights, is released under the **Apache License, Version 2.0**.  
- The model is made available **without any financial gain**, with the intent of fostering human creativity and innovation.  

### **2. Use & Attribution**  
- **Free Usage**: Artists and content creators are encouraged to freely incorporate outputs generated by YuE into their works, including for commercial purposes.  
- **Attribution (Recommended but Not Required)**:  
  - We encourage users to acknowledge the model’s contribution when feasible.  
  - Suggested attribution format: *“Generated with YuE by HKUST/M-A-P.”*  

### **3. Responsibility for Originality & Copyright Compliance**  
- **User Responsibility**: Users must ensure that any work derived from or inspired by YuE-generated outputs does not plagiarize or unlawfully reproduce existing materials.  
- **Copyright Compliance**: Users are expected to conduct due diligence to avoid copyright infringement or other legal violations.  

### **4. Recommended Transparency & Labeling**  
- When sharing or publishing AI-generated content, we **recommend** using labels such as:  
  - *“AI-generated”*, *“YuE-generated”*, *“AI-assisted”*, or *“AI-augmented”*.  
- This helps promote transparency in creative processes.  

### **5. Disclaimer of Liability**  
- **No Liability for Misuse**: The developers assume no responsibility for any misuse of this model, including but not limited to illegal, malicious, or unethical activities.  
- **User Accountability**: Users bear sole responsibility for content generated using YuE and any resulting legal or ethical consequences.  
- **Legal Compliance**: By using this model, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations governing AI-generated content.
